Henry is back at Arsenal plus more FUT 12 transfers

Major changes are about to stir things up in FUT at a time when many of you, like me, might be getting frustrated with a far-from-perfect game where the rich get richer and everyone else might feel they’re standing still.

FUT 12 January Transfer Updates

In the real football world, managers are scouring the globe for bargain signings and the missing piece to their puzzle and as always, EA Sports FIFA are attempting to replicate real events in-game.

This means that every transfer of a player to or from clubs included in Ultimate Team will be reflected in the game itself, such as the much-publicised loan move of Thierry Henry from New York Bulls in the MLS to BPL underachievers, Arsenal.

Lots of Arsenal fans who play FUT are excited about this and they can now use one of Arsenal’s real legends in BPL squads whereas it seemed before he was wasted in the MLS as it’s a less popular league than in FUT 11.

An exciting, but at the moment, mysterious transfer for me is that of Norway striker, Josh King. He is supposedly being transferred back to Manchester United in FUT, however, it’s confirmed that he has signed for Hull City in the npower Championship on loan. Either way, with his 90 pace, 73 dribbling, substantial strength and decent finishing, he’ll be a very useful silver striker for BPL or npower Championship squads. He might even be competition for Wilfried Zaha in my ultimate team!

The first transfers will go in to packs at 6pm GMT today and then more will be released at the same time Friday 20 Jan, Monday 23 Jan, Friday 27 Jan, Monday 30 Jan and Friday 3 February.

These transfers should keep things fresh and give those of us who constantly make new squads something to stay interested and new ways to strengthen and alter our current teams.

Other big names on the move in FUT tonight are Robbie Keane: LA Galaxy to Aston Villa (loan), Chinedu Obasi: 1899 Hoffenheim to FC Schalke 04, Maxwell: Barcelona to PSG, Gylfi Sigurðsson: 1899 Hoffenheim to Swansea and Emmanuel Frimpong: Arsenal to Wolverhampton Wanderers (loan).

Updated transfers can be viewed in Romily Broad’s (Senior Community Manager at EA Sports FIFA) thread on the EA Forums: http://forum.ea.com/uk/posts/list/1348405.page
